The Journey Into Blogdom

Well, this is the third time I've tried to get a new page up but for now lets just label it:

My technical journey into the blogdom

i don't know why I've decided to centre this particular post but hopefully it should all go alright.
I've decided to try and get adsense going on my blog. i don't want to make loads of money and after all it's rather presumptive of me to think that i might be offering something that people might want to read but hey ho, it might be interesting to see if money can be made even if it is a small amount although of course, i want this to be a labour of love. i realise that I've got to go a long way to go before i can be happy with how I'm using this technology. I've downloaded an image but would like to label it - oh well - it will come with time. technically i would like to set up a system so that google maps will appear on my blog and perhaps even gps information so that people can know where to find anything that i photograph in the future, especially those travelling from abroad
see you later

OK guys. its Sunday 27 December at 12.42. I have been having partial success with investigating the ins and outs of blogging. First things first. I have managed to download my first map.
It was from map my run for the Carterton area and i may or may not use it to walk around carterton and get data on how it's going. I did it by pasting the code from the original map on google and then going into the HTML page in the compose section of my blog. This worked as the map popped up immediately once i did the preview. I have subsequently tried to upload a base map from google which would include all my areas for walking etc. I did the same procedure but this time it just didn't happen. I don't know why. ill have to try again a different way as sometimes, taking some time out seems to work.

regarding further techno updates, i have seen that there is a GPS logger for android which has very good reviews and i might have to look into that. have also found out that the telephone has a voice recorder so i could record information as I'm going around
